Ready to grow?
We're ready to help.
At the Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation, we believe that education opens doors—not just for individual students, but for our entire community. When local students achieve their college dreams, we all benefit from their future success and contributions.
Since our founding, QRCF has invested over $180,000 in more than 50 scholars, turning aspirations into reality. In 2026, QRCF is awarding two scholarships of $1000 per semester for four years to local graduating high school seniors who reside in our service area (see the specifics below).
Beyond academics, we recognize that character matters. Along with our merit-based QRCF Scholarship, we're proud to award the Captain William O. Murray Scholarship, co-funded with Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, to a student demonstrating exceptional civic leadership and community service.
Both scholarships consider financial need, academic achievement, school involvement, and community engagement—because we invest in whole people, not just test scores.
Who Is Eligible?
Please read carefully.
-
Eligible candidates must be high school seniors who reside in the towns of Fenwick Island, Bethany Beach, Ocean View, Millville, Clarksville, Selbyville, Frankfurt, Dagsboro, Roxanna, South Bethany, and their surrounding rural areas. This area encompasses the following ZIP Codes: 19944, 19930, 19970, 19967, 19975, 19945, and 19939.
-
The checks will be made payable to the college or university and mailed directly to the institution. Scholarships are awarded to cover the cost of tuition expenses only.
-
It is strongly encouraged and desired that any recipients of a scholarship from the QRCF continue to participate with QRCF in our annual events such as the Hair of the Dog 5K Run / 1K Walk and Bunny Palooza. Without our fundraising events each year, the QRCF may be unable to provide further aid to the community. Our fundraising, solely run by volunteers, is critical and we can always use your help. Please email info@qrcf.org to see what opportunities are available for you.
